2011 Season
The Eagles became the most aggressive team in the NFL in trying to put together what they think will be a Super Bowl squad. They went after, and signed some of the top free agents on the market; Nnamdi Asomugha, Jason Babin, Cullen Jenkins and Ryan Harris and are trying to ensure a trip into the Super Bowl.
The teams first round draft selection, OG Danny Watkins has impressed enough to slip into a starting position if he can remain healthy. Second round selection, SS Jaiquawn Jarrett is battling veteran Kurt Coleman for the starting position and third round selection CB Curtis Marsh is looking to sew up the 5th cornerback slot and sixth round pick, Center Jason Lelce, looks as if he will be the team’s starting center.
